Another record in the bag, as Davido will be performing at the Global Citizens Award on the 25th of September.
The Global Citizen Live is a-24-hour live broadcast that will feature several artists, activists, corporate leaders, and world leaders to mark a global recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Davido will be performing alongside Femi Kuti, Tiwa Savage, Burna Boy, Made Kuti amongst others.
A Tweet by the Global Citizen Canada official Twitter page reads, “Afrobeats icon Davido embodies exactly what it means to be a Global citizen. WE can’t wait for him to join us in Lagos as Part of #GlobalCitizenLive – a 24-hour music festival on Sept. 25!
Sadly, the Afrobeats hitmaker has been thrown into mourning over the death of his official photographer, Fortune Ateumunname who reportedly drowned at a location in Lagos, on Tuesday evening, September 21, 2021.
