Cuppy and Rema have teamed up with the instant messaging app, Whatsapp to celebrate Nigerian independence day.
Today is the 1st of October, and Nigeria is celebrating 61 years of its freedom from colonial rule. Nigerian celebrities like 2baba, Timi Dakolo have taken to various social media accounts to mark the milestone.
DJ Cuppy also took to her IG story to celebrate with her fellow Nigerians, as well as make a special announcement. She revealed via a post that she collaborated with WhatsApp on a special project for Nigeria.
Cuppy shared a video of the project, featuring herself and Rema who were given the opportunity to rep their country with pride.
